#RycultureCSOChats: First Webinar Series Report

Ryculture Health and Social Innovation is a social enterprise committed to inculcating a culture of active citizenship and social responsibility among the Kenyan youth with regard to health and their general well-being.

MYDAWA is the first e-pharmacy licensed by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB), Kenya focusing on health, wellness and personal care products committed to improving access to affordable quality medicines and personal care products delivered to the client at their convenience.

Following the outbreak of Coronavirus disease in the country in March, access to healthcare services were interrupted i.e. hospital visits reduced, operating hours for alternative healthcare facilities/outlets such as pharmacies were reduced, and learning institutions were closed down as well as interruption of social support groups for patients with chronic diseases.

In line with the common commitment to improve access to quality healthcare services to the Kenyan population and challenging landscape of COVID-19, Ryculture and MYDAWA established the first webinar series which run from 25th April to 6th June 2020. This report is a summary of the feedback from participants following the conclusion of the series. It also captures essentials in the digital health landscape.
